Are you looking for a PhD program? Are you interested in committing to a training program which combines and develops skill and knowledge in Biomedical Engineering, clinical technology needs, engineering professional skills and entrepreneurship?

If you are a Masters graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) of the School of Biomedical Engineering at Dalhousie and you would like to enrol in the BioMedic PhD program, you must complete a minimum of 2 additional courses. If you are a PhD applicant from another program, you must complete a minimum of 4 courses.

The courses you may undertake should include a selection from the BioMedic training program courses, but actual requirements will depend on your previous course experience during any previous program and will be determined by you along with the Student Supervisory Committee and the BioMedic Scientific Committee.

If you are interested in applying please note you must conduct thesis based research directed towards the development of medical devices and technologies or the translation to practice of medical devices and technologies. As part of your application you will be asked to detail your research ideas.
